At Pacific Psychiatric Intervention & Wellness Centers (PPIWC), we focus on interventional treatments for depression, anxiety, insomnia, and other psychiatric conditions. We individualize each patients’ treatment plan based on their unique circumstances, and course of illness. PPIWC provides conservative psychiatric medication management, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, Theta Burst Stimulation, and intravenous (IV) and intramuscular (IM) ketamine therapy.
Intravenous (IV) Ketamine Therapy
Dr. Jake Hollingsworth founded Pacific Psychiatric Intervention & Wellness Centers, Inc. (PPIWC), formerly Ketamine For Life, in 2015 and has been a pioneer in the use of IV ketamine for depression. He, along with 6 other physicians, co-founded the American Society of Ketamine Physicians (ASKP), a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and awareness of the use of ketamine for depression and other psychiatric and pain conditions.
Esketamine, branded as Spravato™ is officially FDA-approved for the treatment of treatment resistant depression. It is an intra-nasally, self-administered medication.
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation
TMS Therapy is FDA cleared to treat patients suffering from depression who have not achieved satisfactory improvements from antidepressant medications. Over 1 million treatments have been performed to over 25,000 patients.
Theta Burst Stimulation
In the United States, the FDA-approved procedure for treating depression with TMS uses a protocol of repetitive, single-burst stimuli, called rTMS. This protocol, which was FDA approved for the treatment of depression in 2008, is safe, effective and well-tolerated.
Injectable Nutrient Therapy
Injectable nutrient therapy (INT) is a medical treatment by which sterile solutions of vitamins, minerals and other naturally occurring nutritive substances are infused directly into the blood stream, or injected directly into the muscle tissue.
