Intravenous (IV) Ketamine Therapy
Dr. Jake Hollingsworth founded Pacific Psychiatric Intervention & Wellness Centers, Inc. (PPIWC), formerly Ketamine For Life, in 2015 and has been a pioneer in the use of IV ketamine for depression. He, along with 6 other physicians, co-founded the American Society of Ketamine Physicians (ASKP), a non-profit organization dedicated to the advancement and awareness of the use of ketamine for depression and other psychiatric and pain conditions. He has personally delivered over 3000 IV ketamine infusions, and has repeatedly seen patients’ symptoms improve with the use of ketamine after other treatment modalities failed to bring relief.
Dr. Jessica Hollingsworth brings her experience as an anesthesiologist to PPIWC. She has been instrumental in her contributions to the development of the protocols that are used to deliver the ketamine treatments at PPIWC in the safest and most evidenced way.

Check out the article regarding a landmark study testing IV ketamine infusion protocols for Treatment Resistant Depression in the most recent issue of the American Journal of Psychiatry.
This article tests ketamine treatment protocols, and it’s the first study to specifically test maintenance protocols. This study supports the protocols that we have been using all along, but is also the basis for our newly modified protocols. At Pacific Psychiatric, we are dedicated to developing protocols that are both evidence-based and proven safe.
